Terms of service
These terms are an agreement between you (and the company you sign up for) and OBO LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("OBO LLC", "we"), which operates LevelCrew. By creating an account or using LevelCrew you agree to them. If you use LevelCrew for a company, you confirm you can agree for that company.
What LevelCrew does
LevelCrew stores your business documents, checks them against a builder's insurance and licensing requirements, computes Florida construction lien deadlines from the dates you enter, prepares notices, waivers and pay requests from Florida statutory forms, and sends reminders and requests by email and, if you opt in, text message.
Not legal or insurance advice
LevelCrew is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Deadlines and documents depend on the facts you enter, and Florida law has exceptions the software may not cover. You are responsible for the dates and details you enter, for reviewing every document before you serve, record or sign it, and for meeting your deadlines. Talk to a Florida construction attorney about a specific job.
LevelCrew is not an insurance agency and does not sell, recommend or bind insurance. A compliance status shows how the details on file compare with a builder's requirements; it is not a review of the policy itself. Insurance agents you choose to contact through LevelCrew are independent of us.
Details read from documents automatically are suggestions. Nothing read automatically is used until a person confirms it, and the person who confirms it is responsible for checking it against the document.
Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the teammates you invite.
- Upload only documents you have the right to share, and add other people's contact details only for real business with them.
- Send texts through LevelCrew only to people who have agreed to receive them.
- Don't misuse LevelCrew: no breaking in, testing its security without our written permission, overloading it, uploading malware, or using it to send spam or for anything unlawful.
Your data
Your documents and information remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and share them as needed to run LevelCrew for you, as described in our Privacy policy. When a subcontractor sends documents to a builder, the builder keeps its copy for its records.
Fees
LevelCrew is free during early access unless we have agreed on a price with you in writing. Before we charge for anything, we will tell you the price and you can choose whether to continue.
Outside services
LevelCrew relies on outside providers for hosting, email, text messages, mail and sign-in. If one of them fails, LevelCrew gives you a way to do the step yourself (for example, a PDF to mail or sign by hand), and you remain responsible for the deadline.
Ending your account
You can stop using LevelCrew at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk; where we can, we will tell you first and let you download your documents.
No warranty
LevelCrew is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, OBO LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost lien rights, unpaid invoices or lost data, arising from your use of LevelCrew. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $100.
Florida law
These terms are governed by Florida law. Any dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts in Duval County, Florida, and you and we agree to those courts.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email account owners before it takes effect; continuing to use LevelCrew after that means you accept it.
